Back Pain

Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain can be caused by many different things but is most commonly related to mechanical or soft tissue issues. It is important to check in with our team at Vert to make sure that your lower back pain doesn’t worsen over time.

Lower Cross Syndrome

Lower Cross Syndrome can be caused when you sit for a long amount of time. Lower Cross Syndrome, or LCS, refers to the imbalance of muscle development and can cause serious problems with mobility and posture.

Herniated Discs

A herniated disc is when the soft center of your spinal disc pushes through its thick, rubbery exterior casing. Although some herniated discs are painless, they commonly irritate surrounding nerves causing severe pain.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Back Pain

This particular kind of pain is an area of expertise for Vert as they seek to relieve discomfort caused by carrying a baby or in recovery from childbirth. Many mothers who are nursing their children can also experience severe neck and back pain from craning their neck or sitting for too long.

Sciatica

Sciatica is caused when the sciatic nerves that run from your lower back, through your hips, and down your legs radiate pain due to pressure from herniated discs or vertebrae.

Sacroiliac Joint Pain

Sacroiliac or SI joint pain is caused when there is damage or an injury to the joint between your spine and hip. SI joint pain can be treated through chiropractic adjustments in the Vert office that will get you back on your feet in no time.
